A retrospective analysis of data from St. Clara Maternity Hospital Umana Ndiagu in Nigeria. In 2005 a total of 1570 pregnant women passed through the hospital. 942 (60%) had early registration. 628 (40%) were prehandled by Unskilled birth Attendants before hospital presentation.
