A 54-year old women presented in our department with high estradiol levels (> 4300 pg/ml) and yet typical postmenopausal symptoms. She had a history of adnexectomy (normal histo-pathology) due to these elevated levels of estradiol. After surgery, estradiol levels were as high as before.
