Vasculitis of the nervous system is a rare cause of multifocal neurological symptoms and may involve both the central and peripheral nervous system. Typical symptoms include headache, encephalopathy with cognitive impairment, and psychotic symptoms, epileptic seizures, as well as peripheral neuropathies.
