The present project deals with the pathophysiological basis of the two most frequent tremor disorders, Parkinsonian and essential tremor. Combined EEG-EMG investigations provided evidence that there is tremor-correlated activity in the sensorimotor cortex in both Parkinson's disease and essential tremor.
