Infants from 16 to 20 weeks were presented with objects moving across a spatial field of 60cm. Visual tracking increased between 16 and 18 weeks, reaching increased, while arm lifts (swipes) showed no age change. A neglect of the left visual field in tracking gradually disappeared with the onset of reaching.
