Massive nasal haemorrhage occurred during an attempted nasal endotracheal intubation in a 52-year old patient, scheduled for bone grafting to the mandibula. Ventilation of the patient by face mask and conventional endotracheal intubation by laryngoscopy were not possible due to massive bleeding.
