Earlier data suggested that pts with T3-T4 and/or N1 stage gastric cancer, the adjuvant CRT (Macdonald protocol) significantly increased the relapsus-free and overall survival, although the method was not popular because of the difficulties of planning of the radiotherapy (RT) and high rates of side effects.
