Quality of life measurement – the Bulgarian perspective

Aim: we aimed to assess the state of quality of life assessment in Bulgaria. We focused especially on the studies of quality of life of head and neck cancer patients. Materials and methods: By means of electronic database „national bibliography–series 5“ we searched for medical articles containing the phrase „quality of life“ in the title. Results: we retrieve 25 articles assessing the quality of life of patients suffering different diseases. These were literature: reviews, cross-sectional studies, and a few longitudinal studies.
