The effect of QKL on IL-1β level after intracerebral hemorrhage

Inflammatory cytokine IL-1β is the key factor which leads to the secondary brain damages e.g. hydrocephalus and neuron death after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). In this study we focus on the effect of the natural product QKL (consisting of Radix Scutellariae, Fructus Gardeniae, cholic acid, Radix notoginseng, Concha Margaritifera Usta*) to this cytokine. We established the rat model with collagenase-induced intracerebral hemorrhage.
