Comparison between Tmg and Diep flap in breast reconstruction

Introduction: Nowadays the gold standard for breast reconstruction is the free DIEP-flap and the SGAP-flap as a second choice. However, in some cases the lower abdomen might be not suitable for microsurgical transfer due to either previous surgery, a lack of volume or simply because the patient seeks an even less conspicuous donor scar if given the option to choose.
