Correlation of thyroid abnormalities with risks connected to obesity

Introduction: Thyroid volume determined by ultrasonography (US) is a measure of thyroid enlargement. Beside or without emlargement, thyroid nodes are frequent in the general population. Few data are available about thyroid abnormalities in obesity.
