Zusammenfassung

The aim of our paper was to assess the value of FibroScan evaluation in cirrhotic patients from the Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology of Timişoara. Material and method: All the patients with proven liver cirrhosis (by clinical, biological, ultrasound, endoscopic criteria and/or liver biopsy) admitted in our department during a 8 month period were evaluated by means of FibroScan (10 valid measurements).
