A clinical registry is required to document treatment results of primary lung cancer patients treated in certified lung cancer centers. The results have to be analyzed yearly and presented to dedicated external auditors. 5332 primary lung cancer patients were diagnosed and treated at our institution between 2009 and 2014. There were 873 SCLC, 4347 NSCLC, 104 carcinoids and 8 mucoepidermoidal carcinomas.
