THE POSSIBILITIES OF ULTRASOUND EXAMINATION IN CASES WITH MEDIASTINAL METASTASES OF THYROID CANCER

Purpose: Thyroid cancer is one of the most common tumors in young people. Thoracic lymph nodes are one of the typical places of metastasis in cases of thyroid cancer. The aim of the investigation was to define the possibilities of chest sonography in diagnostics of mediastinal metastases in patients with thyroid cancer.
