WhiteStar ICE Technology further improves phaco efficiency through modifications in fluidics and pulse shaping based on occlusion recognition available on the sovereign (AMO) platform. The microenvironment at the phaco tip for both bimanual and coaxial is dynamically controlled to enhance cavitation a key component of nuclear segment emulsification. Parameter shifting can be used to adjust ICE to manage the full range of cataract cases while at the same time conform to fit the needs of the individual surgeon.
