The 2009 SATELLITE MRI SYMPOSIUM of the HIGHFIELD MR IN CLINICAL APPLICATIONS Meeting in Bonn is a joint initiative of the Functional Neuroimaging Group, Dept. of Radiology at the University of Bonn and the Pain Research Group at the Dept. of Neurology, Klinikum rechts der Isar, TU Munich. The principal goal of the symposium is to provide an overview of current MR-based techniques for studying human pain processing and to discuss their potential for advancing pain research in health and disease states.
