Androgen Deficiency in patients with Acute Exacerbation of COPD (AECOPD)

Background: Little is known about the onset of sex hormones imbalance as systemic consequences in relation to the pulmonary manifestations in advanced COPD. The aim was to assess endocrine status of sex glands and hypophysis during COPD development.
