Ultrasonography in the diagnosis and follow-up of hematologic emergencies of patients with hemophilia

Aim: To present the experience of a single center of pediatric hematology in the ultrasound (US) diagnosis and follow-up of hematologic urgencies and emergencies of patients with hemophilia (pwh). Material and method: Gray-scale imaging using a 3.5–5MHz convex probe and a 7.5–10MHz linear probe was used in the assesement of all pwh which were admitted in the IIIrd pediatric clinic during january 2007– january 2008.
