Zusammenfassung

Aim: To present a rare localization of the hydatid cyst diagnosed by ultrasonography; Case report: The patient I.R. male, 63 years old was advised to be examined in the Infectious Diseases Clinic being suspected of parotiditis. At physical examination, in the right parotid gland was observed a well delimited, spherical structure, painless at palpation; it has been perceived thirty years ago and it has gradually increased in volume.
