The role of ultrasonography in diagnosis of renal tuberculosis and evaluation of treatment

Aim: The aim of the present study is to determine the essential features of ultrasound (US) in renal tuberculosis (RTB) and evaluation of treatment efficiency. Material and methods: During the 5-yr period (2003–2007), 60 cases of proven urogenital tuberculosis were analyzed (6% of extrapulmonary TB in Latvia).
