Zusammenfassung

Purpose: A large cavum septi pellucidi (CSP) has recently been described to be found in 2nd and 3 rd trimester fetuses with chromosomal abnormalities, as trisomy 18. Aim of this study was to analyze in own data whether this preliminary observation can be confirmed. Material and methods: A retrospective data analysis at one center for prenatal diagnosis was performed retrieving the database to seek for fetuses with a confirmed trisomy 18.
