Zusammenfassung
8 patients (6 female, 2 male; 43–57 years, median 51,5 years) made appointments because of nocturnal accentuated dysaesthesia in hand and arm (in 6 patients on the right side) as well as pain in muscles of neck and shoulder on the same side. Neurological examination revealed nothing but slight hypaesthesia of thumb and index in 4 patients. Carpal tunnel syndrome was assumed if at least one of the following criteria could be proven on neurophysiological assessment: prolongation of median nerve distal motor latency >4,5ms, >0,5 ms longer than contralateral or wrist-palm sensory conduction velocity
