Zusammenfassung

Ziele: The purpose was to minimize or avoid the RF artifacts caused by the structure and the material of the stents and to improve their visibility. Due to the use of an electrical resonant circuit added to the stents the visualization of intraluminal tissues like thrombus, vessel wall should be made possible. Methode: A resonant circuit was designed comprising of a helical coil as inductive component and a non-magnetic SMD-capacitor. The resonator was attached to a Nitinol stent and a polymer stent.
