TVS & endometrial sampling and thin prep technique as screening test for endometrial lesions and cancer in high risk women

Aims: The purpose of the current study was the detection of endometrial lesions and the prevention of endometrial cancer in high risk women of general population. Methods: It was performed trans vaginal sonography and endometrial sampling by the Endogyn (Biogyn, Italy) in 2005–6 from 520 pre-postmenopausal women 50–59 y.o with abnormal bleeding and a endometrial thickness >5mm.
