Phyllodes tumor of the breast – correlation between imaging findings and histological result

The goal of the presented retrospective study: to determine correlation between mammography, ultrasound findings, colour flow maping, magnetic resonance imaging, aspiration cytology and definitive histology. Material and methods: We performed in period between January 1995 and September 2006 more than 80 000 mammographic, about 100 000 ultrasound examination and more than 600 MRI examinations. Phyllodes tumor was discovered in 31 cases.
