Portal flow parameters in heart failure (Dopplerographic study)

There is little information about portal flow in heart failure. The aim of this study was to study the portal flow in patients with heart failure (HF). Material and Methods: We studied 57 patients with HF (mean age 57.9±9.38 year; 19 had I-II and 38 III-IV NYHA class HF) and 85 patients without heart failure, chronic pulmonary, liver diseases or gastrointestinal disorders (mean age 58.0±8.73 year).
