Background: In practice there are a lot of differences in the quality of colonoscopy. Patients' opinion about the examination also belongs among the indicators of quality colonoscopy. Little is known about their expectations regarding the examination. Aims: To survey patients' expectations about colonoscopy and examine the degree of their state of anxiety. Materials and methods: The survey was performed at the Endoscopic Unit of 2nd Department of Medicine, Semmelweis University. 150 patients were enrolled in the study: from them 123 patients (82%) filled the questionnaire (43 men, 80 women, mean age 45.8 years).…
