Imaging the lung at Highfield

Purpose: To evaluate the feasibility of lung-MRI at 3 T. Is it possible to adjust the 1.5T scanning protocol to the 3T-scanner? Materials and methods: Two volunteers were examined with a T2-Ultrashort-TurboSpinEcho-Sequence combined with cardiac and respiratory triggering at 1.5 T and 3T with and without application of fat-saturation techniques.
