Aims: The complex modulation of gene expression after partial hepatectomy (PH) is not fully understood. Therefore our aim was to develop a sensitive, specific, reproducible, robust and cost-effective customized cDNA array system for convenient multi-sample expression profiling for several hundred genes of choice to study this question in a rat model of PH.
