Zusammenfassung

Case: We present an unusual case of a 34-year old woman with sporadic progressive dementia since about two years. In neuropsychological testing, the patient shows normal memory, orientation and denomination. However, a pronounced reduction in visual-spatial thinking, reading and calculation is detected. The diagnostic imaging is compatible with these findings: Magnet Resonance Imaging shows an outer atrophy with parietal accentuation. Fluorodeoxyglucose Positron Emission Tomography demonstrates parieto-occipital hypometabolism. Conclusion: In accordance with these findings we pose the diagnosis of a particularly…
