Objective: Endometriosis is considered as an estrogen dependant disease of woman in their reproductive age characterized by the occurance of stromal cells and endometrial-like glands outside the uterine cavity. Patient: Report of a 9 year-old girl which was transferred to the Endometriosis Research Center Berlin-Brandenburg because of cyclic pelvic pain.
