Zusammenfassung

Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine a specific MR mammography protocol for a 7 Tesla whole-body scanner and compare imaging results with 1.5 Tesla MR mammography. Methods and Materials: For the examination of a single breast, a 10-cm-diameter single loop transmit/receive coil (Rapid Biomedical, Würzburg, Germany) was used on a 7-Tesla whole-body MRI system (Magnetom 7T, Siemens Healthcare). In vivo measurements were performed in 10 healthy volunteers and 5 patients with breast cancer.
