SAPPHIRE programme on stigma and discrimination in mental health: research findings

SAPPHIRE is a five-year programme of research which seeks to increase understanding about mental health-related stigma and discrimination (www.sapphire.iop.kcl.ac.uk). It focuses particularly on the impact of stigma and discrimination on physical and mental health and on social inclusion. The projects selected for presentation cover physical health and/or social inclusion, use a variety of methodologies, and investigate the issues from service user and professional perspectives.
