THE POSSIBILITIES OF TRANSTHORACIC CHEST SONOGRAPHY IN CASES WITH ATELECTASIS OR LARGE LUNG TUMORS ADJACENT TO THE MEDIASTINUM

Purpose: Lung cancer is now one of the most frequent tumors in the world. Surgical operation is one of the main methods of treatment in lung cancer. Possibility of operation depends, especially, from tumor interrelationship with adjacent organs and structures. Preoperative diagnostics of those links isn_t always successful.
