Changes in disorders found during colonoscopy in the past twelve years

Introduction: The number of colonoscopies has noticeably increased during the last several years. On the basis of findings of widespread screening examinations patients with malignancies attend more frequently the endoscopic out-patient consultation. Aim of our study was to investigate the differences in the endoscopical findings before initation of endoscopic screening program compared with the findings of previous years.
