Prediction of gastric erosive complications in uremic diabetic patients using multigene DNA sequencing arrays

Background, aims: Genetic polymorphisms of angiogenesis, steroid hormon receptor, inflammatory cascade, apoptosis controlling genes can influence the gastric erosive complications of diabetic uraemic patients. Parallel evaluation of multiple genetic polymorphism became available with the development of DNA sequencing arrays. We aimed to develop a 17 gene, 17561 nucleotid sequencing array for genetic prediction of these complications.
