Aim Of this study was to investigate the lipidemic profile of patients with Diabetes Mellitus in the rural area of Goumenissa-Kilkis. Material-Method We examined the medical files of a representative sample of diabetic greek adults who attended the General Hospital of Goumenissa. Measurement of the blood glucose and blood lipids (Total Cholesterol, LDL, HDL) was made after a recommendation of an all night fasting in these patients.
