Local recurences of breast cancer primarily treated in Clinical Department of Gynecologic Oncology in University Clininical Centre Maribor between 1997–2006

Aim: The aim of our study was to establish the number of local recurences of breast cancer carcinoma, primarily treated in our institution. Methods: The retrospective analysis included 1586 women who had undergone a surgical intervention for invasive or in situ breast carcinoma at our institution in the years 1997 to 2006. We treated 56 patients with a local recurence.
