Clinicopathologic analysis and p16 expression in surgically treated primary vaginal carcinoma

Background: Primary vaginal carcinomas (VaCa) rare tumors within surgical treatment of gynaecological oncology. Here we describe surgically treated cases within a gynecologic oncology centre. Methods: The files of the Department of Gynecologic Oncology at the University Hospital of Leipzig were retrospectively evaluated regarding surgically treated primary VaCa between 1999 and 2014.
