Hintergrund: Early local tumor relapse is very common after resection of malignant pleural mesothelioma (MPM). Intracavitary chemotherapy after tumor resection might improve local tumor control. The present clinical trial assesses intracavitary cisplatin-fibrin application after pleurectomy/decortication (P/D) for MPM patients.
