Zusammenfassung
Summary Summarising, the author points out the frequency with which cerebral angiography helps to clarify pathological changes. The method is used more frequently almost than pneumoencephalography although the two methods do not exclude each other. The indications for angiography derive from the neurological findings. Frequently the demonstration of vascular anomalies by means of cerebral angiography helps to prevent fatal haemorrhage or in the treatment of an epileptic condition.
