General and health related life satisfaction of patients with community acquired pneumonia (CAP): Results of a case-control-study from CAPNETZ

Introduction: Psychosocial factors have an important impact on the development and the course of different diseases. Community acquired pneumonia (CAP) is the most common potential fatal infectious disease in western industrialised countries. However, comprehensive data for Germany including life satisfaction of patients with CAP are not available.
