Zusammenfassung

Abstract HISTORY, INVESTIGATIONS AND DIAGNOSIS: Patient 1, 73 years, suffered from pain in the left lower leg showing discretely increased circumference. Due to a spontaneous cerebral bleeding of a cavernous malformation five years ago there was an absolute contraindication against anti-platelet therapy and anticoagulation. Patient 2, 79 years, presented with increasing dyspnoea. Two and four months ago deep venous thromboses had been diagnosed and he was therefore treated with phenprocoumon (secured sufficient anticoagulation).
