Real-time ultrasonography in the assessment of gastroesophageal reflux episodes in infants with persistent/recurrent wheezing and intermittent vomiting

Objectives: Ultrasonographic assessment of numbers of postprandial gastroesophageal reflux (GER) episodes in infants with persistent/recurrent wheezing and intermittent vomiting and assessement of ultrasonography value in the diagnosis of GER disease as compare with 24 hours distal esophageal pH-monitoring.
