Contrast-enhanced ultrasound in assessment of solid tumors vasculature in children – one center experience

Purpose: We present own experience in CEUS evaluation of solid tumor vasculature in children throughout the initial diagnosis and treatment monitoring. Material and methods: Between 11.2011 and 01.2013 140 CEUS studies were performed in our center. To the analysis 15 CEUS studies in patients with solid tumors were included. There were cases with the following diagnoses: nephroblastoma, neuroblastoma, mesenterica fibromatosis, osteosarcoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, ganglioneuroma, lipoblastoma.
