Results of Thyroid Function Assessment in Children and Adolescents with Hodgkin's Lymphoma Treated According to HD-97 Protocol

Question: Is the thyroid function in children and adolescents impaired after treatment of Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) during childhood and adolescence? Methods: Thyroid function was evaluated in 83 patients (age: 2.6 – 18.2 years, median 13.9 years at the beginning of treatment, and 9.5 – 25.8 years, median 20.2 years at the end of observation) treated of HL between 1.01.1998 and 31.12.2009 in Department of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology PAIP JU MC in Krakow, according to HD-97 protocol.
