Zusammenfassung

Reprocessing probes for transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE probes) and endoscopes is a major challenge in day-to-day work. Over the last few years, for example, there have been repeated reports of inadequate disinfection of medical devices like these. According to international reports, there have been instances in recent years of poorly reprocessed instruments being responsible for pathogen transmission.
