Zusammenfassung

The improvement of workflows and processes for reprocessing thermolabile endoscopes with the aim of increasing patient safety during endoscopic examinations and procedures is a key topic featured in lots of technical literature in the field and is the subject of working groups at national and international level with the intention of drawing up appropriate standards and recommendations. In the following, some of the results of this work will be presented and the current state of the discussion on this topic will be outlined. Sterilization or disinfection
