Zusammenfassung

The prevalence of the main oral diseases varies in different countries and within the same country or region and it is very important to conduct oral health surveys according to WHO recommendations. National epidemiological oral health surveys were carried out in Russia during 1996–1998 and 2007–2008. The aim of the study is to compare the mean prevalence of dental caries and periodontal diseases among 12-year-olds in 1996–1998 and 2007–2008.
