Zusammenfassung

Background: Cardiovascular disease is known as the deadliest disease in the world. According to the latest WHO data published in may 2014 Coronary Heart Disease Deaths in Indonesia reached 138,380 or 9.89% of total deaths. The age adjusted Death Rate is 82.30 per 100,000 of population ranks Indonesia #97 in the world. Kulon Progo Regency is situated in the western part of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. According to the data from Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the average food expenditures in Kulon Progo is IDR 365,012 ($27.49) (BPS, 2015).
